Sorisho
Mr. Sorisho was previously Chief Financial Officer and Vice President
of Solectron Corporation’s technology subsidiaries:
Smart Modular, Force Computers, and DY4. Collectively,
these three companies represented over $1 billion of
revenue annually with approximately $850 million in assets.
In his capacity as CFO, Mr. Sorisho was responsible
for administering all financial matters for the group
of companies and led a complex organization of eighty
people worldwide, operating in multiple geo-markets.
Prior
to joining Solectron, Mr. Sorisho was Vice President
of Finance & I.T. for Natsteel Electronics, an
EMS provider headquartered in Singapore. During his
tenure at Natsteel, he was instrumental in securing over
$200 millions in capital resources to finance acquisitions
of manufacturing facilities in the U.S.. While at Natsteel,
he chaired several site expansion initiatives in order
to further enrich the company’s presence within
the U.S. market.
Mr. Sorisho has also held many other senior level
finance roles within Silicon Valley at very successful
companies such as Adobe Systems, where he was financially
responsible for managing the companies $1.2 billion revenues
globally, along with resources within the sales and
channel organizations. Prior to Adobe, Mr. Sorisho
spent many years working for National Semiconductor
in various roles in operations finance and international
tax. He left National as the world-wide controller
for Networks Division, then a $600 million business
within the company. Prior to that, he held various
financial roles in technology services, commercial,
and retail banking.
Through out his diversified career, Mr. Sorisho has
developed a management theme which focuses on maximizing
enterprise value, strengthening internal controls,
and building functional excellence.
Currently, Mr. Sorisho is a member of the advisory
board at Eoplex Technologies, located in South San
Francisco, with responsibilities to oversee planning,
evaluations, pricing, and structuring of capital resources
for the company. He is also on the board of advisory
for Intraserve Systems, a Silicon Valley technology
services company specializing in providing I.T. services
for markets using Unix, Oracle, and Veritas Solutions.
Jerry Qubain
Mr.
Qubain is currently the SR Director of Engineering
OPS of eSilicon Corporation. eSilicon is a fables
custom chip company.Recently
eSilicon has taped
out its twentieth chip and in 2003 will exceed
five
times its revenue of 2002. eSilicon recently closed
round E in the
amount of
$21 million. Mr. Qubain has responsibility for all Engineering
Operations.
Prior
to joining eSilicon, Mr. Qubain was General Manager
of the
interconnect group for DCI . During his tenure at DCI,
he managed the
acquisition of Liberty research. While at DCI, he was
responsible for business development.
During a one-year period he doubled the revenue
prior
to selling the company to Credence Systems.
Mr. Qubain has also
held many other senior level management roles
within
Silicon Valley at very successful companies such as
Adaptec, where he
was
responsible for managing all US operations. When Mr.
Qubain joined
Adaptec
the company was at $100 million in revenue. During Mr.
Qubain's seven
plus
years, Adaptec exceeded 1 billion in revenue. Mr. Qubain
spent three
years
working for LSI in different Engineering Management
roles. Mr. Qubain
was
hired by LSI to establish part of a Military/Aerospace
division of the
company. Prior to LSI Mr. Qubain spent five years at
Best Labs. Mr.
Qubain
left Best as the GM of the Hardware Engineering group.
Currently,
Mr. Qubain is a member of the advisory board for Intraserve Systems,
a Silicon Valley technology services company specializing
in
providing I.T. services for markets using Unix, Oracle,
and Veritas Solutions. Mr.
Qubain also consults for Crescendo Ventures looking
at
potential company investments specializing in hardware.
Mr. Qubain
holds a
BA Degree in Industrial Design from San Francisco State
University.
Keith Bergevin
Keith Bergevin is an attorney
with a private practice focusing on
early-stage
companies. Mr. Bergevin has worked in-house at various
startup
ventures in
key
management positions. At Santel Networks, a PHY IC
supplier with
top-tier
venture capital backing, he oversaw the company's
administration and
legal
affairs. Prior to joining Santel, he served as Corporate
Secretary for
Sentius
Corporation, an internet software and services company.
At Sentius,
his
responsibilities included managing the company's
operations and legal
affairs.
Mr. Bergevin holds a B.S. degree in Business Management
from San Jose
State
University, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Golden
Gate University.
He is
a
member of the State Bar of California.
